Day 37: Yesod

The image that comes to mind with this Ten of Cups today is a little trinket that one keeps with them. It’s a personalized keychain from the Grand Canyon, it’s a photo of a distant loved one, it’s the memory of a childhood birthday. This Ten shows us such a beautiful and harmonious scene (Tiferet at its peak!) and rainbows do not last forever. These trinkets are proxies for people and places and times that are not of our present experience. And even though these elements are noted pressed fully in our day-to-day, they still nurture us. This card is showing us that Yesod is independent from permanence. The bonds and memories we create impact us even if the thing is now unseen.
