Day 28: Malkut she’b’Netzah

Sovereignty within endurance/victory.

In the kabbalistic tree of life, malkhut is at the bottom, meaning it is the closest to humans. Malkhut is the most accessible of the sephirot, and represents the most immediate ways we can manifest divine energy. During this day of the Omer, let us consider what is the most accessible means of providing for endurance and victory. What is an immediate way to ensure success? The Six of Pentacles has an answer: balance through generosity and reciprocity. If we are able to meet our needs while also meeting other’s needs, then we are establishing a relationship that will be healthy and sustainable. If we are able to find our place as an individual while seeing ourselves as a larger whole, then we will be making a long-lasting contribution to our community without losing ourselves.
